| My club also uses straw, we had some foam but were forced to get rid of them due to storage issues. |

| Club is 100% straw. Outdoors. Indoor has two foam but not an issue as most compounds shoot ally indoor. I would like a foam boss & may well club together with some compounders to get one & add it to the container but as most have said space becomes an issue

| Our club (Moray Archery) has both foam layer and traditional straw bosses, both indoors. We have enough of both to allow all of one type or the other to beused, or a combination depending on need. The foam ones are useful for beginners as they are more likely to allow the arrow to penetrate at lower speeds and also generally make it easier for them to remove arrows. The straw ones are used to give juniors experience of what they're likely to encounter at competitions etc. and also by the adults from another club (Forres) who shoot on our range on occasion. At the Forres club, they only have the straw bosses (as far as I'm aware). Personally I really don't mind what I shoot at, as long as I can hit it! ![]() Mike.

| We have a set of 5 Danage targets which are left out on the field all year round and a couple of straw ones for the longbows in the container. But for comps we have about 20 danage and prob around 17 straw targets. The Danage seem to last very well considering the amount of abuse they go through, but the centres do need to be changed fairly regulaly.

| We use Danage bosses, indoors and out. Not cheap but they're really good and it's the logical choice because their shop in Sønderborg is only a 3-hour drive away. We have 3D targets too but no idea where we get them. We actually use the leftover foam from shot-up bosses to make "trolls" (in truth they look more like little grey snowmen than trolls) and use these for a 3D fun shoot once a year.
