This is the thing with `Branded names`as they make high volume strings and they employ a number of stringmakers, it is very unlikely that all sets will be of the same quality of workmanship. Something that a lot of people seem to overlook. Barring making them yourself, it is so much better to find a good Custom Stringmaker and sticking with him/her as you know the quality will always be the same.

Suprized by that Watch-Man. It could be the Xcoat stuff they were using which tended to look scruffy quickly, but worked well. I have never ever had peep rotation issues with Winners Choice Strings.
We have sold around 500 sets of WC strings and 3 where they messed up the lengths and none with issues with rotation. You must have gotten unlucky.

with recurve make your own strings it is far easier and not too critical. With compound buy the strings and cables from a good manufacturer and if you have a little bit of peep rotation well it doesnt take a second to cure. The girl in question in watch man post had only had the strings and cables on for that day effectiveley. I have to say that I have taught tim everything he knows and would never call him clued up but he can sort a peep out at pace!

I love to make strings. I even try to find excuses just so I can make a string. I find it theraputic and envolving. However compound strings? Think I would buy them as well. I would be tempted to give it a go my self but would realise the inconsistancies in the lengths and just give up and buy a set.

Yes Tim can write his name in joined up writing now, so you have done a good job

Tim sorted it out in between ends very quickly. Speaking to R after she retired in the second session, I think she was suffering from an injury and maybe that affected her more than the peep rotation. As a bonus, R got 20 minutes of relationship advice from young Zac Crawford (11yrs old I think) - that young man wil go far, so Tim better watch out

Yes they were X-Coated so that could explain the rough appearance. The other issue was that I had asked for floating yokes but they came with split ones I didn't get any confirmation that thy could do floating yokes so perhaps it was my fault for not chasing it up.
