You'll have to go a long way to beat the 'Bradford Flattie' or 'Goliath'. Based on the unique Bradford Flatcake - a flat circular bread roll about 10" in diameter. This is filled with 3 sausages, 4 slices of bacon, 2 fried eggs, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and brown sauce - all for £1.75. It is spoken of with reverence and admiration wherever the heavy goods vehicle fraternity and scaffolding errectors gather together. All I can say is I am glad they work alone in their cabs, or high enough off the ground not to affect the rest of us with the resulting methane emissions!

Sounds good to me, but you forgot one thing - the antacid chaser, I know I'd need one after that - worth it though.

That would be a typical breakfast on the 6-2 shift where I worked until the canteen had new caterers in, then the price trebled. Oh, those were the days.

Thanks, Pete! For some very odd reason that I can't reveal here, that made me really laugh!

They have those 'round here too, only they're called a 'Deperate Dan' or a 'BellyBuster' (not hard to see why )
