I would truly like to combine my my winter sport, cross country skiing (hate downhill as I spend so much time on my **** ), with archery in ski-archery but the opportunities in this country are ZERO. Maybe I could try bike-archery? When I get to retire to Canada in two years then I get to do ski-archery.

3 months into the sport and only target so far with my field 4 miles from my house i guess this will be my main pastime, Field and 3D look really interesting I will have a go some day, clout looks fun too even fancy flight that was not even on the list.

Just voted for field, love the challenge of IFAA, also like to shoot 3D and indoor is a lot fun as well.

Have done very little target (just indoor coaching-type stuff curtesy of 7,3,miss). I purely shoot field. Well, ok, to be strictly accurate, field, hunter, forrester, big game..... - EFAA marked course. Haven't managed 3D yet though, that comes on our Christmas shoot (unmarked - under NFAS rules).

Even with the marked 14-target course, every round is different - that might seem strange, but with the differences in light, shadow, cover & such like a target never feels the same twice. Example: shot one round a week or so ago, and then ran for cover as the heavens opened. Once the rain had stopped, shot a second round. The foliage looked greener, more lush, the light was different - it made it a totally different experience to shoot.

Suppose that's one of the reasons I like it!
