Is it FITA or Imperial for you outdoors in 08 or a mix?

With the outdoor season just about to start what sort of rounds have you entered?

I would guess that most have entered a mix or mainly imperial..... but

No imperial in RSA

In South Africa we don't have the luxury of both. Only shoot FITA. No 25m.

I've entered one of each so far. I'll probably do a few more imperial rounds as the FITAs will likely have filled up before I look at them. Still, if I get the chance to shoot a FITA then I will.

It had to be done!!

Maybe not foam animals all the time though, maybe paper faces now and again!

Out of 11 tournaments entered only 2 are WRS Fita
and 1 other is West Essex Double Fita70m
so 8 Imperial Tournaments
would have liked to done a few more WRS Fita`s but they`re generally too far away

would also someday like to try the last option
although thats unlikely this years as not enough Sundays left

Do you have a pair of those special boots that stop the foam animals getting your scent

Hopefully a couple of 3D's for me too. We are fortunate that our club runs NFAS/GNAS and EFAA field as well as target.

FWIW I will be shooting mostly Fita field and an occasional metric/imperial round with the target club

I have entered 15 outdoor Comps this year so far. With a mixture of both Imperal and Metric rounds. With more Comps to follow.

As I was learning to shoot I was also being taught that fita rounds are French rounds - 'and you don't wanna shoot them do you?'
But fita is the way of the world. Both have their charms, so this season it'll be a mix.
