Floodlit Open Tournament - good idea or bad idea?

As our club shares a ground with a large rugby club, with floodlight facilities, I’ve been toying with the idea of our club holding a FLOODLIT Open tournament in summer 2009. Probably to be a Western (shooting more than 60 yards will mean more misses) and held on a Saturday evening so as not to clash with anything that’s held on a Sunday.

I’d like some opinions, thoughts and ideas please on whether you’d find this type of shoot a good idea or not and would you be interested in shooting it for the novelty of shooting under floodlights? Or perhaps you’d think it just a stupid idea and could never imagine such an event getting off the ground?

The floor is yours.

I think it's great. We shoot under the Welsh Rugby floodlights on Friday nights at Richmond.

wow, a poll not started by Watch_Man

floodlit is a great idea, especially since gnas took time to publish a code of conduct (last AUK) for it.

whats good enough for F1 is good enough for archery

great idea, but would be worth getting some individual spots to highlight the targets.

Petersfield shoots a floodlit frostbite in October (I believe) at the football ground. It's a lot of fun though can be quite cold.
