Tournaments - how do you like to receive information ?

Mostly talking about the smaller 'local' tournaments here

How do you (especially if you are your clubs tournaments officer) prefer to receive information and entry forms about these and whicH method is most liKely to get you to respond ?

SAA website, archery in scotland relies very heavily on this resource imo as the smaller comps are more 'invitation' than 'open'

Any way, really, as long as it's electronic - website download (aO, AIUK or club website) or attachment via email.

Shoots i have been to before E Mail an entry form to me, others i tend to pick up actual paper forms at local shoots, or from Mayflower.

As club sec (bottle washer etc) I forward any/all entry forms that come to me by email to all of our club members who have email. I also print off a copy to stick on the wall.
There are however 3 problems here:
(1) shooting outdoors we lack a wall
(2) club members who only read their emails every 3 months and then complain that they got the email too late
(3) living in a county where digital watches are considered new and radical, so email isnt so common as you might hope. Still things are improving.

At the end of the day, I do my bit and the rest is up to the rest

Email is best, followed by county or other websites.
One problem I have is that I (and the family) tend to perceive letters that arrive in white envelopes addressed to me on a sticker are junk mail, so they get left on the stairs unopened. If you send out a form, please put the club name in the address, even leaving out my name, and it will get noticed.

Mainly via email, but tend to watch usual suspects after taking notes from Archery UK mag and taking a look at clubs website if nothing received in e-mail form.
Easier to send out to club members, as all our shooting members have access to email....phew, saves on trees, as some do not even know to look in hut for forms.
