As I did cut myself with my knife at a comp then I do need a kit. Don't forget that sterile stuff goes out of date and needs replacing regularly.

I have a roll of insulation tape in the car, makes quite adequate emergency plasters.

And if your sterile dressing is not dated its more than 3 years old now so you need to replace it !

In terms of "whats in the kit" I would suggest that any club kits should contain no lotions, potions, creams, linaments or anything resembling medicine..Caveat Lawsuit..
What you carry in your personal kit is of course your own business- just keep the cream and chocolate away from little jimmy - he'sprobably got a nut allergy !

i alwayys have a small kit on me if i plan on using a knife (cut myself too many times to count).
Usually i have a larger kit in the car and a small one on a belt, containing stiptic spray, liquid plaster, plasters, steristrips, antiseptic wipes , wound dressing, and insect spray. i sometimes add elastic bandage for my trick knee. its just enough for most knife related stupidities!

Not sure how relevant mine is as the knife is a small penknife for the little things in archery that you need a small knife for, and the first aid kit is aimed more at possible pain from strings hitting arms and suchlike than stab wounds.

Doesnt that make your keys hard to get in your pocket?

Seriously though, I assume its a cpr mask compressed enough to be unobtrusive but robust enough to live in your pocket with keys and change etc. that would be good. where did you get it from?

The CPR mask is a 2"x 1 1/2" x 1/4" thick pouch I got mine from the trainer when I did my last first aid at work course but I an sure they would be avilable from the Red Cross web site.

a fact.....interesting view on the world!

i carry a small first aid kit that i use for bushcrafting, the only really exciting contents above the normal are some gloves and a thing of betadine paint (which, when applied to a cut, would make even the hardest persons eyes water lol)
