| All other things being equal, I'd prefer an Albion.

| I would go to all of them, if there were clashes like LMP it would depend on record status, how far away, if anyone I knew was going/lived locally.

| I've found that as a novice I went to some lovely shoots... and regardless of what else is on I enter those again as they were friendly / relaxed / well attended / fun / feel good factor - take your pick of reasons. I also opt to miss our club RS hereford as it is the same weekend as a WRS double fita.. And then of course I'm sure at some point politics will stop you entering an event... or not being able to shoot your arrows there!!! ![]() I like to go to shoots well attended by my club as it always adds to the fun ![]()

| Following on from t'other thread - If fuel costs/travelling time are a factor then I am far more likely to attend a York or Fita than a shorter round...just isn't worth going any distance for a Western or less.

| Like most others, I go to the tournaments I have enjoyed in the past etc etc. But i voted for a Western (which includes New,Long,Short etc) mainly because you get a good bit of shooting in, but don't have to start ridiculously early or finish ridiculously late. I haven't shot a competitive Albion (St George, Windsor) since University days, so I guess that might be as satisfying.

| Tend not to go to anything but WRS FITAs or FITA 70m unless I support the organisation that runs it in some way ie it's my own club's shoot, my county champs etc. Short distance imperial rounds (western's, national's) aren't really aimed at reasonable recurves or most compounds but they of course have a very important place.
