Once I get back into it (after writing up my thesis, fully rehabilitating my shoulder, etc), I want to make it to world level. Not exactly sure how long it will take me, or how soon I can start working towards it... but I'm determined to give it a go.

It got me out of the house and back into some sort of social life.

Now I'm hooked and can't go too many weekends without going to some sort of competition...................... after all, I've got a reputation to maintain.

If its worth doing it's worth doing well. And I have spent that all money. Looked at so many catalogues, bought the books, dress in white and look at the archery websites. It takes over your life a bit just like the cycling and guitar building.

I fit into 2 of those.
It's my life, I love to shoot. I want to be world class, but if I never make it so be it, won't stop me from trying.

As much as I'd like to fulfil an ambition and compete at international level, I think that at 32 and still a novice, I have no chance.

However, I would like to compete locally and who knows what may arise from there.
