As a records officer I find (apart from juniors) that the 3rd class is usually immediately bypassed by the first 3 scores ever made. 2nd or 1st is the norm. Maybe the revamped class system will result in a more sensible class system.

Thumbs down

1st Class! Yeh, that was last year. This year I am struggling with injury - and frustration and shooting like a muppet!!!!

What FITA scores do you use to define Grand Master and Super Hero?

For MB you need 1278. GMB is 1326. You are a GMB, Super hero just needs you to be able to shoot GMB scores all the time, you again, or a dashing red cape or Bat cave perhaps..

Or 1190 and 1259, for people not using wheels... 3 of each in record status competition.
I'd guess that "superhero" doesn't start until you hit 1350, at least...

Got Bowman last year after about 12 months shooting compound. Need to top it this year but not sure I can be bothered to go to the right sort of events. Field archery is beckoning and I'm not sure what the classifications are if any in this discipline.

Wink

Is 'Superhero' a new GNAS classification?? Think I should aspire to that one if so...
Or is it shooting GMB in torrential rain and strong winds/ performing exceptionally well in adverse conditions?
