In my experience I have found that my scores drop by about 2-2.5% on a really foul day, so I voted for 2.5%. (They have been known to drop by as much as 5% if it's blowing a hoolie).

I firmly believe that the best way to deal with wet/windy/adverse weather is to accept that the weather WILL have an impact on scores. The truth is, it will, so just accept that it will drag down EVERYONES score, not just your own, and get on with it.

If you don't accept this you create an unrealistic expectation of a higher score than is likely. Failure to meet this expectation creates all sorts of mental pressures that ultimately damage confidence and impact badly on the shot routine, and the result of this will be even lower scores than the conditions deserve.

Adam

I would like to thik that I can shoot better in good weather. It gives me satisfaction to shoot well in the bad weather. I think the difference will be a small percentage.

Shot a Warwick of 350 on thursday almost perfect conditions. Shot a Western today. Thought that I could double the score being a comp and my scores progressing. gusty crosswinds left me with a 696. So weather cost me a few points. Fatigue did not enter the equation, only did 40 miles on the bike yesterday as preparation. Shopping in the afternoon was a bit tiring though.

I opted for 0% as the weather up here is windy and rainy 9/10ths of the time!

I usually practice in rain and windy conditions for about 90% of the year (West Cumbria)...... if I am lucky to get to a competition with just a slight wind it is great, I may gain a few points

Shot a really good National of 562 in warm weather. Caused me to lose 3 handicap points in 1 go so it was good for me. Won by 66 points, so warm weather not good for others.
