Wink Practice

You won't get anywhere without practice, whatever the quality of all the other items. However, it is important NOT to practice 'doing it wrong', and therefore some coaching is also essential (although self-coaching is necessary whenever practicing whether the 'coach' is there or not). And finally, poor equipment or poor tune will make practice unrewarding and ineffective - if you do everyhting the coach says and the arrows still spray all oveer the boss there is no incentive to follow the advice however good it may be. Ultimately, its all a matter of balance (or does that come under posture? ).

But if you have an arrow that doesn't hit the gold do you keep it with the good ones so that it can learn from them and want to stay with them, or keep it separate to prevent it from spreading its bad habits to the rest?

If you are talking hardware, take advice from your coach or an experianced member of your club. They should be able to advise you on what they see you need, far better than we can from here!

Talking

Practise and loads of it, I had a beginners cse years ago not had any major coaching (apart from my dad)due to the stories of "this is the way you have to do it and thats it" attitude .New kit only gets better scores when you stop fiddling with the bow setup and practise
