Most archers are great people. There is the odd one that I feel the need to take a baseball bat to, but not very often Come on Clicki get out there and get some comps done!!!

I'm another student type archer. Am only in my novice year but apart from the national BUSA champs i've also been to a few record status shoots. I didn't go to compete against others, i went for the pure experience of it, and i'm very glad i did. You get to meet loads of great, likeminded people, most of whom have the experience to give you a few pointers while you're there! Also if you go to FITA stars and manage one of the badge scores you get a shiney badge to show for your effort (or a thistle if you go to scotland, and they're much prettier! )

As I only started last December I have only entered Nationals. Now I have won the last 3 with scores that gives me a 1st class. So now I am entering Herefords, and vainly practising 80 yards - hit...miss..miss..miss..leg..flag...!!!

So mostly entering Gloucestershire, but ventured down to Burnham, and going to Exeter, Bath, Swindon, Devizes..anywhere which gives me lots of practice.

I'll be at the Swindon FITA (& the Bournemouth one).

Might get the kids to the Blue Lion too.

I've put National as I've done the English National Field Champs twice, does the All British count as international as I should be doing that next year?

Starts this Sunday (11th) with the SCAA County outdoor champs, then continues right through the week to Sunday 18th with different rounds every day. All in the grounds of Dunster Castle, Somerset - very nice.

Hi Tel

Sorry I forgot Dunster!!! I have entered the Dunster Nationals on the Sat & Sun - is your wife shooting them?

Andrew is shooting the double Hereford....you too?

This will be our 1st time there - we have heard many stories of how great and friendly it is!
