I mostly shoot in my county (Cumbria) at the moment but I love to go and shoot in Newcastle when I can (Walker Field ..... is my preference) I go purely for the fun of the shoot and the raffle

Reading through all the replies and suggestions of shoots makes me think of he days I used to shoot down south (AC Delco/Southampton University) I still miss the great times I had shooting down there..... the whole concept of bacon butty and tea tent

One day when my children are a little older I am going to shoot the Dunster week..... so see you all on the shooting line in about 4 years

Sandra

This will be our 1st time there - we have heard many stories of how great and friendly it is!
Our first too - shooting anyway. We popped in last year for a look and it really is quite impressive. Helen is down for Nationals both Sundays (the 11th being the County Open). I'm down for a York on Sunday 11th, Fita Monday, Western Friday and Double York Sat/Sun......WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!?

See you both there!

I shoot local, regional (as in Wales), National - I go to England and shot a few there for fun as well! We (Llantwit Major Archers) are hosting the UK and Isle of Ireland Field Archery Championships next month so I will be shooting them. Would be in Auz shooting World Champs now but lack of funding prevented me going.

normally you can find me shooting most clout competitions in yorkshire these include local, yorkshires, ncas and the nationals at harrogate. I also have shot at local, yorkshire and ncas target comps as well (that makes 3 target comps in my shooting career)
