We charge the first set of affiliation fees when people join -- £35.50 for seniors, £19.75 for juniors. We had to start doing this because of people saying they wanted to join, then not turning up again even though we paid their affiliation fees. After that, it's £6 per calendar month for seniors, £3 pcm for juniors, which includes GNAS.

Club fees are paid annually at our club, I can't remember the prices off the top of my head but fees are approximately £65 for seniors including affiliation fees. On top of that there's £3 session fee which is paid weekly in winter.

£15 annual fee adults, £5 juniors. £1.50/70p per indoor session, £25/£10 fee for whole of outdoor season. Our club is lucky that the school we shoot indoors in, charges us very little for the hall. Outdoors is a chunk more expensive, approx £900 but the competitions we run help towards this cost.

For outdoors our members have the choice to pay weekly £2.50/£1 until they reach the full fee, then they stop paying. As treasurer I would like to stop this option and just have everyone pay the fee in a oner. Keeping track of weekly payments outdoors is a pain. A number of our club hardly shoot outdoors at all, but my view is that the £900 is a club cost and all members should contribute. Our AGM is in November so am putting together a couple of proposals for members to vote on. Hopefully, I'll get my way, especially as no-one else is jumping up and down saying, me for treasurer, I'll do it!!

Pelican, one idea that I know a few clubs have adopted is to have both an annual and monthly option of direct debit for session fees. They also have kept the option to pay on the day but this works out slightly more expensive than paying in one lump sum. This way it's easier for the treasurer but I believe it was also set up due to some members contributing less to the club than others and thus it was thought unfair to those who constantly helped set up targets and were more active members to pay the same price as those who just turned up and shot.

The numbers I gave do not include the £4 that we need to charge to shoot indoors.

As not all our members shoot indoors regularly ( or indeed at all in some cases) I guess the decision was made to only charge those that show up on the night.

All including GNAS fees:
Adults; £65 pa
Adults (first year after beginners course); £50

Associate Member: £30 pa

Juniors: £20 pa
Juniors (first year after beginners course); £15

There's other options, but that's the general gist of it. There's no additional 'shooting fees'.

I should have ticked two amounts as we have two price ranges £4-£6 & plus £8 both inc GNAS, as we have normal membership where the archer pays a shooting fee for each session and unlimited membership where they can shoot as may times as they like with no additional shooting fees due
