Favorite Rounds

Very simple, given the choice in your club would you prefer to shoot more fun competitions or more competitive competition rounds.

I like to shoot fun rounds as I find normal target extremely boring

I like shooting the normal target rounds to get practice in for competitions. I also prefer it as you can compete against yourself to beat your PB.

I like to do it for real. Not that I am competitive. Someone said that the best way to practice was to score. So I record scores and try for a PB. I can be relaxed, look for other peoples arrows without worrying about losing rythm/form. But I like a score at the end of a session.

i usually have a set pattern for practice before I go and shoot. I either practice at a set distance for scoring or have a technique tuning session. When I shoot for scores its usally for postal leagues at club. Then if I am away at a comp at the weekend at the start of the week I will check my sight marks and then towards the end of the week shoot several dozen at each distance to score.

I do like fun shoots but only occassionally. At the moment i've been practicing rounds with 80yds/70m max to improve my longer distance grouping, only trouble is my shorter distances seem to have suffered as a result
Generally though weekdays are for practice and sundays are scheduled shoots, FITA/Hereford alternating or competitions, Berkshire champs next week!

Was thinking more Forrester or Big Game - a hunter face is still only a circle after all.
