I voted for private hall as the university have a dedicated room for us, its only 2 bosses wide, and the line is about 6 inches from the door and about 2 yrds from the backwall, buts its ours

A bit like Marcus we have 16 targets for Portsmouths or FITA 18. 24/7/365 use.

We use the function room of the local rugby club. We can have a maximum of 12 people shooting in details of 4, but since our club is growing fast I need to get an additional venue sorted out for the winter. I'm on the case, but potential venues are asking for an awful lot of money per hour.

Cool School halls in front

£40 per night is very close to what we pay but at least we can shoot up to 25 metres.
Every school hall we have look at is either too small, cost a lot more than we pay at the moment or if affordable are fully booked.

Marcus26 is one lucky lad the club house looks great and set in such a lovely location I would spend too much time looking out the window (which I did too much of at school)

We have grown very fast being a newish club so I understand T.J Mason's problem when he has to look for a new venue if the club keeps growing I'm in the same boat but the only thing helping me is that not all members have turned up on the one night which is helpful but I'm awaiting the dread day

At dusk we often get Kangaroos bounding past our indoor range windows and at dawn they sleep on the mound behind our target butts. Fantastic stuff.

I should give thanks to Lichfield Archers Founding Fathers....years ago they shot in the Cathedral grounds...and had a small hut for equipment storage...now we have our own permanent range and clubhouse together with our own dedicated outdoor range. Indoors is available to members 24/7 and 365 days a year (one member was there Xmas day trying out his new "present" - 5 122cm bosses wide easily accomodating 10 archers at once, and space behind the safety line for everyone else, repairs etc. Similarly the outdoor range is available 24/7. The club leases these premises from the local district council. Having read the above I realise how lucky I am!
