Well for all you other vaguely mathematical people out there, what about metric angles?

Gradians are one of the least used measures of angle, (100 gradians to 90 degrees, or pi/2 radians) when compared with radians and degrees (radian's being the most mathematically useful, degrees being the most user friendly as 360 has ALOT of factors).

Not everything should be made metric. Afterall, it's used because our number system is in base 10, and the only reason that's in base 10 is because we evolved with 10 fingers! :-p

Temperature puzzle

OK here is an interesting one on temperature that will get a few heads scratching.

If it's 0 digrees Centigrade today and it's going to be twice as cold tomorrow..what will the temperature be tomorrow? In centigrade please... We had some fun with that one at work..

Depends what you mean. If you're going to be exact about it then twice as cold is half the heat. So....

absolute zero is -273 degrees c. so 0 is +273 from absolute zero, therefore if it's twice as cold the next day it'll be -136.5 degrees centigrade.
