I notice that a lot of postings on this forum are from beginners or novices, so it got me wondering what the average history was around here.

Unhappy I wish I had started archery years ago
I wanted to do Archery for years but the only archery I did was at country fairs (spent a fortune).

Their was no archery club in my town so I waited and I waited until I got fed up and managed to do a Beginner's course and helped set up an archery club after that.

So that proves that not all good things come to those who wait!!!

p.s two and a half years now happy days

I undertook my beginners course 5 years ago and shot the rest of that summer and the following one (skipped the indoors), then let work pressures get in the way.

Last summer I made the decision to take life less seriously and came back to the game. I've been shooting as often as I can since then, 1-2 a week in the winter 2-4 outdoor.

so either 5 years or 2 1/2 or one...you tell me..
