Question Most arrows shot in a day

Had a little event on at our archery club at the weekend. I managed to shoot 500 scoring arrows in 12 hours, just wondered if anyone else have done that sorta thing?

it was estimated i had shot in the region of 700 arrows that day
it was after this i realised i needed to increase my draw weight

For me probably well over 200 - Fita plus practice followed by a long time on the practice field in the evening after an abysmal score - which was then followed by Simon Terry suggesting he thought that might be too much practice for halfway through a double Fita, so I rethought the wisdom of it after that. Now I follow poor scores with instead!

i usually shoot 250 to 500 per day, but once i shot 800 at an indoor range. took me all day, and i wasnt really going for that number. just got to my 500 early and kept shooting. havent shot that many since though.

How long does that take you? At what distance? And how many arrows do you shoot in a end before you collect?

i shoot 12 arrows at a time. both indoor and outdoor. it can take from 3 hours to 5 hours depending on the distance i have to walk to collect them.

shooting 12 arrows at a time gives me a 70 meter score for heads up so i can see what im averaging. i also can score a indoor fita as well, pretty fast.

sorry it took so long to answer. i didnt see this post.

Last summer I changed my anchor. I decided I needed to get used to the new position. I set up a boss in our paddock at 8 o'clock Staurday morning. I shot 600 arrows on the Saturday (finished at 9:30in the evening) and the same again on Sunday.. so 1200 for the weekend and a very stiff back
