| I used to shoot far too fast, nearly always first off the line. Now I take a few seconds between each shot to compose myself and think one arrow at a time. Still mostly off the line before the amber light though. On the odd occasion the amber light comes on, I tend to panic slightly and think anythings better than a miss, just shoot it! Did that on Saturday at the premier, shot through the clicker, hit the grass. If I hadn't panicked, I'd have had time to start again, but that's how it goes sometimes. |

| My response might to influenced by this year's weather I shoot differently at 90/70m compared to 50/30m. I've usually got an arrow on the string when the whistle blows, but sometimes take a second or two to settle myself before starting (or not if I'm settled). Fatigue, wind, rain & pigheaded behaviour by my bow all influence the pace & flow.

| Nice and slowly does it. if you rush you rush. Then you become tired. relax, concentrate and shoot well. |
