Cartel Triples outdoors, X7 cobalts with 3" feathers indoors

I shoot a completely different setup indoors with considerably less poundage, so I have to change my arrows. I use alloy's 'cause I like the noise they make when they slam into one another, and cobalts are such a nice shade of blue.

I played around shooting aces and 2214 x7s last year indoors with my recurve. Best scores were with the X7s. Its much more satisfying seeing a big fat arrow land in the ten. The 2214s were a reasonable spine for my draw length and weight.

Shooting compound this winter so definately be shooting the X7s.

I have just been looking on the Easton Chart, what’s the main difference between the X7 Cobalt & X7 Eclipse. When people talk about X7 what are they referring to?

Also in the Shaft Selector:
http://www.eastonarchery.com/product...hartsSelectors
It lists X7 on one line and X7, 75 on another, with two different spin weights, so which is which?

I am shooting just under 40lbs with a 30 1/2 draw, Recurve.

not a lot of difference;
X7 Eclipse have a bushing for the nock and are black
X7 Cobalts have a swage to reduce the shaft diameter at the nock end and are Blue.

I shoot Navigators outdoors and Fatboys indoors. My best score indoors is with X7's. Carbon/alloys are too expensive for me to shoot indoors.I have seperate strings, wrap around arrow rest and button for shooting indoors.I made too many changes with indoor shooting last year, trying out lots of combinations. Now I know what and how to shoot indoors. And I am confident in my equipment and technique.

They aren't different sorts of X7, just different stiffnesses. The charts are just saying that there is more than one size of X7 which might suit you. They will all be in the same ballpark as regards stiffness, but some will be slightly stiffer or weaker and there will be differences in the shaft weights.

I'll be shopping for some X7 Cobolts soon.

The fattest ones I can get away with!

I'm sticking with my ACC's - the size difference is marginal between those and the appropriate size ally (plus I sold those!)
