| I shoot 30lb short limbs on a 25" riser. With a draw length of about 261/2inch...(I'm a short person). I just manage 80yrds without inverting the sight (just). I was lucky enough to acquire some ACE arrows (spine length tuned to my bow) for next to nothing and that helps. The only problem is I came into archery just 2 years ago and I still find it a little hard to keep it anchored under my chin...but I'm getting there slowly. |

| i agreed that power is a massive advantage in bad conditions, but should be tempered with the fact that power is nothing without control. i now shoot 38lbs (my first bow was 28lbs 8 years ago, then i moved up to 32lbs and happily shot bowman and 70m for a long time) then with a change in riser length up to 34, then due to a break of about 3 yrs, shot 32ish. and since the andover double fita star this year shot 38lbs. I have worked very hard to cope with the increase in weight, gym and yoga every week, and my sightmarks and lovely and high, and the good shots go exactly where i point. bad shots go off somewhere, cos i haven't changed my arrows yet! i'm still shooting ACC 1020s! (drawlength about 26")
