I'm currently paying 3 quid a time to shoot with one of the local clubs, and consider that a bit steep...

Kind of depends on the circumstances. I'd see £2 as a sensible target fee when shooting at another club or at a hired venue, but I'd pay more if the club (whether mine or another) needed to build funds for some reason. No more than a fiver, though.

We charge £1.50 for members and non-members alike, but that's because the school gives us a really good deal for hire of the hall, another club I shoot at sometimes pays something like £25 per hour, so has to charge £3.50 to cover the costs.

I'm also a member of this club and think we're really lucky as we have 24/7 access!

We charge £2.50 for club members and £3.50 for none club members to shoot indoors 'cos the school charge £22 an hour and we shoot for two! As Treasurer in our club I've just given them a cheque for £1000 for 6 months indoor shooting!!!

We pay £3 indoors - it doesn't cover total indoor costs as the bosses and target faces are subsidised from the club fee (£45 - which covers the 24/7 access to the outdoor field) - I personally wouldn't pay more and neither would most of my club mates hence the charges haven't been increased to cover costs.

Sorry, I read the question wrong so my answer needs to be removed, if possible, as it isn't the one I would choose having read the poll question again..

Our club members pay £1 each time we shoot, two hours on Wednesday evening and Sunday mornings. The school gym we use is hired at a cheap rate and we have a grant from the local LEA that covers our indoor costs. We have to pay from club funds for the hire of the school field for outdoors but again this is hired at a really cheap rate.
