I've always wondered about the way counties are divided in this way - you have, for example, Sussex, Essex, and Wessex all mentioned - where then is Nosex?

and to cloud it a bit more...

East Riding/Humberside/East Yorkshire...sounds like one county had a bit of an identity crisis!
