Where are we all?

Here's a (hopefully working this time) poll based on Tel's question elsewhere on the board.

I always feel a little odd putting North east - but I guess North West is Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria.
I suspect there is a slight Northern bias amongst members, because the initial spread was by word of mouth. I would guess that, leaving "International" aside, membership will eventually even out along the lines of GNAS membership distribution, with SCAS being most represented, NCAS second etc. But, as for number of posts, I would expect mouthy Northerners to come out on top (again, discounting contributors from Maine)

Hi FF,

Initial spread was by sending out emails message to as many archery email addresses I had time to send to; so there was no particular bias towards the north.

As for 'mouthy Northerners' I really don't want this to turn into a north/south debate

How about an east/west Pennines debate?

But then, when you look at a map, the east is on the right, ergo, the west must be wrong.

Hehe.

That was never my intention either - just curious is all.

Thumbs up

......and by the way Dave, Thanks for taking the question in hand and giving it some sort of order. I didn't consider the poll angle when I asked the question originally - daft really as its the obvious route to a balanced answer. For future ref. do you as guvnor put the poll workings in place when a suitable question arises, or is it something we mortals (perhaps unwittingly!) initiate?

No probs Tel

When doing a future post, if you look down the page there's a bunch of other options, one of them allows you to insert a poll into the post.

I agree with that too! When I think of the North East, Newcastle & Sunderland always spring to mind
