What Size is your Club?

How many members has your Club got?

My Club is always refered to as a "small Club" but how many members do you need before you're a "Average or Medium sized Club"

We do hire indoor and outdoor facilities and don't have our own ground/clubhouse is this is what is refered to as a small Club?

Or is it membership numbers

We are a small club I believe.

50 members, 34 of which are seniors.
15 Regular archers (Attend at least 1 weekly).
Rent Indoor & Outdoor grounds and we have our own container on the outdoor field.

Kae.

I suppose I tend to think of club size as numbers.

Our Senior club has 37 full members plus 2 who pay only local club membership.
Our Junior club has 21 members.

Makes for a busy indoor season.

We have 60+ Members

Our own Ground situated inside the Belhus Royal Park.
Our Ground is open 24/7 365 however parking is not.
We have 3 containers filled with equipment. We run 4 beginners courses a year of which at least 10 people attend.
We have probably about 15 regular archers. We have 3 7 man Summer League Teams. We are current and multiple Essex Summer League Division 1 winners.
We have won the Malgrave Moonlight shoot for 10 years on the bounce.
We rent an indoor hall once a week for 2 hours and even have our own field course but disputes with the local farmer dont allow us to use this facility.

Our permanent membership is normally steady around the 60-70 mark. At the moment we have 94 members, but with renewals comeing up we can expect to lose about 30, but we will normally gain 30 through the year from people who re-join later or newcommers to the club.

Would guess at club membership being less than 50
only around a dozen regular shooters less in winter

Not too many years ago, if you divided the number of GNAS members by the number of clubs you reached an average membership of less than 20!
