Mine comes up the same as this address has its own private postcode.

Its a pain as it doesnt show up on sat-navs or archery organiser.

Hi Yorker,

Can you please send me your postcode in a private message? I'll try to figure out what the problem is.

Cheers,

Anthony

The obvious reason why your post code does not appear would be age, the postcode to geographic datasets can take up to a year to find their way to end users, assuming the user regularly updates their database.
The less obvious reason would be if it is not a normal postcode, business, PO box, ex-PO box, the former postcode of a post office or occasionally university halls of residence. These can be particularly difficult to locate and match to an area due to the lack of information in the address. A quick query / complaint to the OS should resolve this.

My wife and at least one other archer followed TOMTOM by postcode to a shoot in Portsmouth and ended up on a slipway!

My wife was the one that DIDN'T carry on driving down the slipway!

I rent an office for my business and whilst the post code exists and the younger buildings in the yard are listed mine built in 1822 is not... Still have to pay rates though.

Maybe it is something to do with it being a former pig sty?
