An excellent idea, and an excellent website! Although I couldn't find one single shoot that I'm doing throughout this summer listed there! Even none of the County Champ's (Middx, Herts and Surrey) are listed either - who is that down to, to put these up?

One thing I DID find though, is that Aim4sport are holding an open weekend of shoots over 26-28 May - shame they clash with the Middx Champs, otherwise I'd be there. They're even doing a hog roast in the evenings, with camping on site.

Excellent site. Would it be possible to extend it to include coaches? It would be handy if you could search for people who offer coaching in your area.

Every county archery society has a coaching group, Jimster, so that's a good place to start. Try here to start.

Perhaps including links to all the county coach websites is a good idea here and on AOUK.

hmm - I tried that, and whilst I was able to put a few events up on there for which there were already registered clubs (Spelthorne, Laleham etc), the ones I'm attending at clubs that AREN'T registered on there, (eg. Lintman, Guildford) I'd have to create the club entry for, which I didnt feel qualified for, or comfortable doing.

Maybe there's a way of trawling all the clubs listed on the GNAS (or NFAS)sites, and creating a "bare minimum" register record for them?

Just a thought.

Anthony has spent hundreds of hours getting a basic backbone of clubs and events before the launch. Now it's up to all of us. I've added in plenty of clubs and events. All one need do is look up the information on a club's website. Or, if you wish, wait until someone from that club enters it.

This endeavour is something new to all of us and we're all trying to make it a success, but in order to do so, we need to pitch in and get it done. If a mistake is made, we can easily edit it (I'm helping Anthony admin the site if that's not evident already), so don't let it stop you from adding a club or event.

I added about a dozen clubs and events yesterday (the ones we're attending this year ), so it should look slightly better than it did this time yesterday.

No one can ever find the shoots you do, Andrew I reckon they are all classified! The organisers probably want to keep Eva and Cameron Diaz away from you...

You are right to feel wary of posting too much info on the behalf of others though, as some people on the NFAS webboard have been upset by their email etc appearing here. (Something which was immediately recitfied by Lewney btw).
