Dave!
For those of you who have visited, or those of you who have been around for the last 40 years for borders creations, you will probably want to know, all your bows for the last 20 years have been crafted/ directed by one Guy. Dave!

He has made most handles and made the cores for the limbs. He has trained every guy here, and has just had some bad news.

The Borders General Hospital has just signed him off work for the foreseable future with a heart problem. He will be back, but in the mean time, we want you to know, that the guy at the core of all your bows including the ones that are over 30 years old, is currently putting his feet up, We hope to keep his workshop in the condition we got it in!

Get well soon Dave ,i shoot a pair of XP10 limbs and they are beautiful they need a refinish but shoot wonderful so just wanted to say Thanks dave for many hours shooting .

Dave- I have never had the pleasure of meeting you directly, but I do own 7 Border bows that all must have been blessed by your skills. I greately respect and appreciate your efforts- God's speed with the healing process!

A News Update.
Just to keep you all up to date.

Dave went into hospital yesterday and has had a Triple heart by pass today and is, we are glad to say, doing well so far.

He has vowed that he will be at the next possible Reiver shoot to help out make the coffees and teas as he doent want to stay away!

We wish him well!



We will get back to full strength when our new guys are up and running and Dave is back to give us some of his experience even in the new improved Dave that the doctors have promised. In the mean time we are trying our best to catch up on our backlog of bows to make.
