We are keen to get the admin started...

So far we have established the dates, as for the exact details, we are still in discussion over.

We are under pressure for dates from our customers abroad, as they need to book ferries and flights. So we have pinned up some dates.

Marco has let the cat out the bag a fraction early for us, (not a problem) its just we were about to set wheels in motion here, when the question came.

We will get the application from up and running on our web site and post details asap.

The organisation we need in place, is to make sure the reivers (club members) are up for the shoot, and are prepaired to chaparone others, not so familiar with our course/ scoring. We owe alot to the Reivers, and support then them as much as we can.

We have enough reivers to cover about 60 people, so places are limited/ and by invite. As users/members of AIUK, your welcome to attend.

The Attendence WILL be only by invitaion and by a fully paid up and full application form. We have duty to the people traveling from far and wide. So we hope that those planning to attend can fullfill our wishes in this difficult balance. We also appreciate that people also dont know what they doing so far ahead.

Cheers

It should be there...

I was working on it till 8:30 last night.
Going from bow maker to web designer is a little bit of a leap.
I also need to be a photographer in the next couple of weeks.

I hope you can get it now, (its on the main page, see link below)

http://www.borderbows.com/working/ne...ion%20form.xls

If the popularity is greater than the 70 people, then we might need to add a few more targets in... :-)

Hi Sid.

In reference to the quote, when I came to fill in the application form there was not a category for normal recurves with sights and stuff. Does that mean your shoot will not have such a category? So even if I'm welcome to still shoot with a sight, will there be anyone for me to compete against?

Your welcome. There is no category, but you are more than welcome.

What i suggest is you phone us up and talk to us and we will see what we can do :-)

On the other hand, you will have an unfair advantage on the second day for the clout, but you will get your scores bashed with the moving targets... Dont recomend expansive arrows for this section.

The 3D's can be harsh on arrows and the course is set up for instinctive. So distances are short and technical. Hope this sounds good?
Malcy and JohnK know the course as do a few others, but i dont know there AUIK names...

Best field course I've ever shot on, bar none. None of the targets are very long, but lots of them are very challenging.

First year, I lost/broke most of my arrows but I didn't much care - they were aluminiums I bought second hand and were underspined, so I had to aim off to the left most of the time. Second (last) year I had a tuned bow (with ACCs) and didn't lose a single arrow.

My advice to you would be to shoot the course barebow as it's much more fun that way.
