Question Border history

Hi, this is my first topic on this forum. I'm the proud owner of two border bows. One traditional longbow, hickory back and lemonwood belly and an "old" Falcon longbow built in 1984.
I once read something, I coan't remember where, about Border bows history, when and where it was created etc...
Could anyone tell me where I could find these infos or could anyone tell me more about border history?
Thanks,
Pierre
