Whats this bow?

Hi all,
I am trying to find out something about this secondhand Border bow I recently purchased, I am fairly new to the sport so anything that you can tell me about it in simple language would be appreciated..

70” 38lb Recurve Bow RH with Stabilizers No Reserve on eBay, also, Bows Bow Accessories, Archery, Sporting Goods (end time 16-Dec-07 20:18:26 GMT)

The Border guys will be along any minute no doubt so specifics I'll leave to them that know , but I'd say you've done well if its as good as it looks.

Ah, an Olympic Dream. I think (can't swear to it) that one of the Gents recurve team in the Seoul Olympics (1988) shot one. I seem to remember reading that it was an American-made compound bow riser that Border made limbs for. I knew a few people who owned one when I started the sport, but I think they all used dacron strings rather than fastflite. Definitely something to check on first.

Pro Shop closed down, but Archery World is (I believe) run by the same gentleman. They may be able to help further, but as previously mentioned, Sid should be along shortly.

Perhaps you could ask one of the Mods to move the thread to the Border Bows section and Sid will probably see it sooner?

Shame there is no serial number, we could tell better as to what they are...

Looks like they could be "BC" limbs Before carbon...
