| The hex4 has had the TX40 laminate. Along with all our "Black" Bows We have introduced our CXC laminate to add some more stability to the hex5 to make it a fully fledged Target limb. This CXC laminate has been run across the board. The hex4 and 5 are and the TXG have the same CXC constrution, its the recurve shapes that are different. This adds to the performance. The VX carbon is a component that is different to the CXC. The Hex4 and 5 are not conventional recurves, but the laminates are getting better than the older TX40 found on hex4, TXG and TXB limbs. At the time of the HEX4 being out top limb we had the XP10 and XP30 limbs which were glass limbs. The laminate on the hex4 gave it the smoothness of shot, and the recurve shape gave it the smoothness of draw. Combine the two and you have a very smooth bow. The hex5 is more advanced, but the CXC also adds to this. |

| Sound like the limbs I ordered (HEX5 hunter with the Vx option) is worth waiting for. By the way, my old, but not trusty, woodcore WinAct limbs, finally died yesterday. I suppose I had i coming. As I have been abusing them for years, by subjecting them to my +31" draw. (not that I'm overly tall, I just seem to be burdened by the arms of an orangutang...)

| Hi BorderBows Not to worry! I can wait. A clubmate lent me his 70" Hoyt G3 limbs, fully aware of the perrils. He was actually seeing the lower limb twist as the woodcore gave in. Told me I could use them until my new border limbs arrived ![]() He deserves a crate of beer for that, I think...
