Border Carbon Limbs

I'm about to step up from the basic Samcik limbs at 34lb to something a bit nearer 40lbs (I've been shooting a 40lb flatbow and am sticking with barebow, so I know I can handle the weight easily).

I was looking at SF carbons/Hoyt CRX etc but then the thought of Border occurred to me and I see that they have what they just call 'Border carbon limbs' (end of line) going at a very reasonable £100.

Anybody shot these? Any good?

IMHO go for Borders - the slimmer limb tips and steeper recurve give extra cast to the arrow.

Went for the Borders. Had them a couple of weeks and have set new PBs at every round I've shot with them!

I would love a set of Borders at some point for shooting recurve. Glad to hear they're working out well for you.

Out of interest, does anyone (BorderBows?) know how much TXB's/TXG's generally go for?

Sorry Sid,

yes you're right. I got mixed up with the total for the receipt... and my finger brain interface isn't what it used to be...

But they'd still be worth it! (Shameless plug - well I am a happy customer...)

Glad you liked the ML2's, Its an old limb now. Still holds on well, performance wise! If only we could spot a classic, before it becomes too late!
