Limb Colours

From what I know, there are 2 colour choices for border ILF limbs. Black and Amethyst. I've made an order for black coloured limbs some time ago, but I'm suddenly having 2nd thoughts. I'm having this thought that black would be a little too common/boring and amethyst will stand out more. But then again, amethyst sounds like a really purple-ish colour to me. So, does anyone have close up pictures of the limbs that show how the colour really looks? Black, I suppose would look like the black of the G3s or the Winnex? I'm really interested in how Amethyst looks like. Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

That's what put me off border limbs I didn't want purple (my pal had a set and they had a purple sheen)

I also feel that the new hoyt limb colour scheme is too 'boy racer' so I bought innos (nothing fancy just great liimbs)

It all boils down to what you're comfortable with I suppose.

From what I've read so far, the amethyst they're talking about aren't exactly purple. But then again, I've not seen an the actual colour, so I can't comment. But I'm pretty sure you can opt for black coloured limbs without any extra charge. Unless that option only came up recently.

They're not purple at all in my opinion, and no I'm definitely not colour blind The colour can best be described as a glossy grey and looks very good indeed, better than a simple black finish IMHO.

Alternatively you can pay a little extra for a custom colour. Of course, limb colour and appearance doesn't make a difference to feel and performance.

Is it possible that different set of limbs have slightly different colours? Its very difficult to believe that one colour can be seen as purple by some, and grey by others. It still comes down to the question, does anyone have pictures? hehe

We have been using it for the last 4 years at a guess. It is our standard colour unless you ask for something else. Pink if you want!
