BD swift + HEX5-H limbs and limbsaver

I would like to try limbsaver ULTRA Recurve on my Border BD HEX5-H.
Do you have any experiences with limbsaver products on this bow.
There are any advantages/disadvantages with limbsavers on limbs.

Thanks
Jarda

We disagree with limb savers. We think they hide bad techneque and also hide any change in techneque as a shoot progresses.
If placed where they are supposed to give best vibration dampning they also suck preformance out of the bow.

If your getting limb flap/vibration, you probably need to think about the pressure point within your hand. For example, if you push high into the throat of the grip, you probably will struggle with limb flap, and the same goes for pushing with the heal of you hand. There is a happy sweet spot inbetween that gives a smooth sweet shot.

If your struggling with a noisy bow, you need to play with your brace height, chances are its too high with the hex5's. Heavy arrows also quiten the bow down by making it shoot slower, so there is less energy left in the bow to make such a noise. A couple of small string silencers also take that string hum out of the shot, which also slows the bow down and kills noise.

Our last and final word is that, Limb savers dont come off to easily, and void any varnish surface warrenty with our bows.

There are better ways to tune the noise/vibration out of a bow without damaging the bows finish than limb savers, in our opinion.

I can say that limb savers work as well on our limbs as they do on other limbs, but as a few folks have said, they have never seen limb savers "save" limbs.

stick the limb savers in your ears, that way you can quiten your bow without affecting its preformance.

Smile Energy In Arrows Not In Sound

I cannot say something about HEX 5.
I am shooting a Swift HEX 4 / 62" 50# without any silencer.
It is a very fast bow.
I have to say also, a fast bow is normaly louder than a slow one. The string beats faster to the limb when stops. But there is something to do.
Like Sid say: play with brace height, nokingpoint, spine, tip arrow weight and string number while you hold the bow comfortably in the same way in your bow hand. Your release is besides important. It have to be smooth like a release. Try a arrow shaft without feathers.
The arrow have to left the bow like a projetctil without riding or fishtailing.
All energy have to go in arrow flight and not in sound.
Upper and lower limb have to stop in the same time. If you be successful the bow sound like a whip.

I hope you can understand my English. Not everybody can what he does.
