I suspect that Med will pay better than engineering but that's the way of the world. And if you use your hands rather than your head for employment, then it is unlikely that you will make lots of money (with the possible exception of surgery)

I'm tempted to relocate and apply for a job at Border, as somtimes the world of IT can be a bit overbearing[1] I suspect that the rest of teh family would have things to say though. (Probably Bye!)

1. If I was left to do IT security like it says in my job title then it would be fine, but my management don't think that constitues a full time job!!!!!!!

There is not much money in making things in the UK.
I can say that up here, there are alot of cheap things to do, which is why i have a better quality of life on minimum wage, than i did living in London on good money.
There is space for our field course, we have space for a target club, have permission to shoot my air rifle on a plot of land for nothing, at £6 for 500 shots!
There is fishing for £15 a year on the tweed, moutain biking for £2 parking at Glentress. There is NEVER any traffic jams so MPG is really miles and not meters.
Then there is walking, St cuthberts way, Borders Abbey way, then Pennine Way and the southern Upland, to name a few. There are alot of old roman roads to walk. There is ample horse riding schools, so there must be alot of horse riding places aswell
London costs 6 quid just to leave your house! ouch...

Either way, The highlands are 3 hours away.
But im off to the Alps, others are off to Ireland, and some are just relaxing for these holidays.

Making limbs is a positive thing to do, there is something tangable at the end.
The replies we get from happy customers where we meet their expectations is great. It beats that anonmouse feeling i had while working for a large property firm hands down.

Decided to hang around the street corners for awhile, have not told the other half just yet...
