That's an awesome location you have for your club Brian, looks like something out of Lord Of The Rings. How do you guys find missed arrows though?

Thank you Tony

The targets have been so expertly placed that lost arrows are not a problem

Actually we are lucky that there is very little undergrowth (pine plantation mostly) it really has not been a big problem unless somebody let's loose a real flyer.

I thought that the bloke in the fluorescent 'council-worker-style' yellow jacket was taking a very pragmatic approach. A good idea in those conditions.
I've never tried field archery but it looks interesting.

Perhaps I'll put a Border bow on my shopping list at some point in the future. The Black Reiver looks like a work of art. A very beautiful bow.

The Black Reiver is a phenomenal bow. The photos at the link below are of one made with ebony and heritage cocobolo. They don't use ebony any more, but I must say that indonesian rosewood looks even better.

Hello, it seems that Border is on holidays at the moment because I could not join them neither by mail nor by phone.

That's right That's what the first post in this subject is about.

They'll be back on Monday, but I suspect they will have a mountain of email to get through. A phonecall might be best.
