At 8pm on Saturday I decided to enter the SFAA hunter round at Wolfstar In East Lothian. I'd been entered to shoot a double fita, but 29 mph wind rain and forecast 50mph gusts helped common sense prevail. The forecast for Sunday was better, but still windy so I decided I didn't want to ruin the good work I've done on form shooting in bad conditions. The woods would be sheltered, it thought.
Wolfstar is a bit exposed in places and 6 targets (twice) were affected by the wind. At least with no timing I could come down three times for each arrow if need be.
The end result was a PB 507 and my first A class score. I now have a B class and an A class score on my card, so I am a B class archer, until the next shoot
