First First Class Score
After being in the doldrums for the last 3 or 4 months and being on the verge of giving up I've finally got my first first class score - 428 Long National.

Recently I've not been enjoying my archery at all and have been struggling with any sort of form. On one occasion I couldn't even manage a third class score on a Long Metric ll.

I've started to enjoy myself over the last couple of weeks and have regained some degree of consistency.

The message is clear; no matter how bad things may get, stick at it. With application and a little perseverence things will improve.

The only question is; can I get two more before the year end?

depends on the way your head works....with some people, if they pressure themselves into it, its good, others fall apart when they do this....I would say, enjoy the fact that you're enjoying shooting again....the scores will come.

The short answer is Yes, Well done Mike, I know you have had far more to keep you occupied this summer, namely Amelia, but its nice to see that you haven't given up, you are a talented archer, who given the correct coaching and motivation will go far ( not far enough for me) only kidding but its nice to hear you in an a more upbeat mood about your archery. Update
Shooting in challenging conditions today - blustery, changeable winds and pretty cold - I got my second qualifying score; increasing my pb to 446.
