Alternatively you could move to lincolnshire where we obviously have plenty of folk who believe in what they are doing and are prepared to put in the hard work for the benefit of others

coaching

this post is nothin to do with lincolnshire... but due to legislation we will soon not have any good archers / etc helping out with up and coming archers. but 10,000 coaches that know nothing about what its all about, ( Namely text book coaches) remember every archer is different, that means everyarcher.. hell i'm a bad man,

Just because someone wears the badge 'coach' doesn't mean they have your best interests at heart... this may not be a purposeful glitch either. How many times have you been told.... that's wrong or you're not doing that right? Watch how X shoots... but don't copy him - the techniques is all wrong!

My tip - look at the people that are being coached by that coach - what level are they shooting to.... if you have a choice, keep that in mind

New coaching philosophy:

No one does anything "wrong". No such thing as "faults", just things that can be improved to make your shooting better!

this has very rapidly degenerated into a slagging off of the coaching system rather than a congratulations to those who have put the time in to complete the course, whatever its merits. well done to those of you who have taken the time to do the course.
