A great day!

I just had to tell you about today's Western shoot at Swan Archers. I've done a couple of these, and always found them v fun, so persuaded a crowd from Mayflower to cross over the Dartford bridge and come with me.

What a successful time we had! Beautiful sunny day, really well run shoot, yummy soup, and we got Overall Gents Recurve, Ist Lady, 3rd Gent, best red and... ta da!! I finally finally won a medal at a target shoot!! It was only for best unrewarded couple, and I think my partner got the lion's share of the points but tbh I was just so pleased to be back out shooting, and proud to complete the 8 dozen. I even got a 1st class score!

It was so great to be back out among friendly faces, lovely to see rohenwto and ffish, and to be part of a club group for once! Happy Rach!

Thanks Whitehart, you might like to know my partner was Rob Markham.. I didn't have to marry him though, you could be unrelated!
