Classified at last! Shot in 1979 and 1980 but never shot enough to classify; not enough time in my life for the necessary practice (only about every other week) and only ever shot two full scored rounds. Decided to stop for a while until more time available; I hate doing anything badly.
Started again, 27 years later, last September, and got out to shoot usually twice a week this time, but only "indoor" distances (never more than 30m Frostbites). Finally started shooting longer distances; sight marks Saturday 29th, a Long Western last Friday, FITA 70m last Saturday and today, and got a classification at last: 1st class. Phew! A decent level of practice certainly makes a huge difference to results.
Logged in to update my profile from "Unclassified" and couldn't resist boasting.
