600 Fita 720 badge

I got my 600 Fita 720 badge today at Evesham (and placed 7th in the qualifier).

Jon Shales 1st place with about 636

Grant 3rd

Richard Wilkins 4th or 5th

I think 2nd was around 628 or so down to me (7th) on 608.

I didn't stay for the 1/8ths onwards but I know Grant and Richard were both out.

I was just coming on to announce it, but you beat me to it, Simon. Well done today!

Shales was on 637 (IIRC), I was on 626, Dave Beardsley on 627. Chris White shot 695, Adam Shaw on 688 (again, IIRC). Didn't see any of the ladies scores. I think Ed ranked in about 8th with a 600 and the other junior GB boys were below him.

Funny day with the breeze. The hedge has big gaps, but nothing near the target flags. So a strong wind attected the arrow through the gaps, but there was no evidence of it being there! Despite the low score, I got a good (comparably) pass of 111, so can be considered a good day.

i ranked 15th then knocked out dave beardsley who ranked second, so that made my day!
