Australian National Championships
Just got home from the Australian Nationals.
Personally had a disappointing Nationals. After starting well
90m: 318 (with a 165 second half)
70m: 337

I dived
50m: 327
30m: 349
1331

but was happy with that.
Day 2 and things went bad. Had a 293 at 90m, but felt I shot better than day 1, arrows were just flying into the 7. Things never improved and I shot a woeful 1268. Pretty devistated.

My wife shot recurve on those days and finished 5th place, just 2 off 4th. Not bad as she received her G3 limbs at 5:45pm the night before the shoot.

We then shot field and I continued to struggle and finished poorly (338 and 334)
My wife though shot Compound Target and did great winning for the second year in a row.

Today we had matchplay. My Matchplay team did great and took bronze. Very pleased.
Erika's matchplay team won gold.
In the individual I shot well, but got knocked out. Erika shot great winning all her matches in close battles to take gold.
We were also both part of the Gold medal winning State Team. This gave her 4 Golds for the National, pretty neat bounty.

Rebuilt it today and shot 342 and 346 at 70m with it. Go figure. Redid the cam spacers and messed with the cam positions.
I think I'll buy a new bow, just getting the itch. :lol:

Just found out my matchplay team set the Australian 24 and 48 arrow records during the Nationals. Pretty pleased to hear that!
