Achievements of a newbie archer

Hello All,

Last week I finished the sixth and final session on my beginners course (Long Mynd Archers) and I have to say that I have caught the Archery bug....

I've had a few days off work this week, and to the joy of my better half I have spent several hours each day this week at the range

By week six of the course, I found myself shooting at 40yds, but today shot my first 'proper' round, which I think was a "Short Windsor" (3dz @ 30,40,50yds). I scored 683, the highlight being a 5 gold end (admittedly only at 30yds ) , about which I was pretty chuffed.

I guess this is small news, but right now I feel like I could keep shooting 24 hours a day.....
