Yesterday was our "All-Comers Warwick" tournament, which was great fun, and a good way to get your new beginners shooting with everyone else.
Basically, you're handicapped on score and distance - so the full range of Warwicks are used, from New down to Junior, and the different level archers shoot the different rounds. The targets are mixed up as well, so you don't have the 100yd targets off to one side, and the 40yd targets to another..
Despite being told at one point that I was to be shooting blindfolded at 180yds, I did actually manage to put a respectable 370 in for a New Warwick (complaining bitterly about being made to shoot a "man's distance"

) and set a new club record! I also managed to scrape 2nd place for the ladies overall, so I was rather pleased.
If anyone is interested in using this round to get your beginners involved in a tournament (and winning medals, as they have to best allowance and shoot the shorter distances), let me know and I'll find the proper rules for the distance/points workings out!
