| Break-in at club The lockup used by the Phoenix Bowmen of Halifax was broken into some time between the evening of Monday 20th November and Friday 24th November. Part of the exterior padlock shackle was found and it showed signs of having been cut with a specialist tool (especially since the padlock is almost impossible to access with common cutting tools). Nothing was taken or vandalised, presumably because they were after bows and arrows (which we don't leave at the club). These facts suggest that it was done by a "professional" gang rather than local idiots. Wakefield Archers and Dearne Valley have had similar break-ins this year, which suggests that Yorkshire clubs are being targeted. Clubs are advised to review their security and avoid leaving bows and arrows at their grounds. |

| Sorry to hear that but glad nothing went. We had a similar break in a month or so back with similar results, mainly down to the fact that we had a break in a couple of years ago, lost most of our beginners course stuff and learnt our lesson.
